Shianna's plan on Sun Feb 08, 2009 11:01 pm
M followed Shianna with D walking along beside him. She was jumping the gun again. He wondered if she had even seen the new person, the man that had been standing just inside the door. He was with those kids and that man now, and that was going to throw everything. It could be worse, he considered. There had only been the one. Only one of the ordinal directions had shown up, so those bearing the North, East and West articles couldn't do much. It was a kind of "checks and balances" system–if something went amiss with the four cardinal directions, the ordinal directions could pick up the slack and make sure things fit back into place. He kind of admired the order of it all, but only a little. Not enough to make him change "sides" or anything hasty like that.
“It's going to be tricky getting there without the other articles,“ he said to Shianna once they emerged from the door. “We can't just show up. The Order will be all over that.“
“Oh, I know,“ Shianna said. “That's what the troops are for.“ M sighed heavily. The troops. Shianna had done her best to form an army of "orcs" (please), because of course that always worked. The brute force was nice, but depending on it...eh.
“Yes, mistress."
